ROG Spatha - Sleep Mode Issue NOT Resolved, dispite it being marked as!

    Hi folks!

I'yard having more than issues with my ROG Spatha.. they started off intermittent, only now happen all the time.

if I go out the mouse and shut down the PC, the next morn the mouse is 100% expressionless and unresponsive. - I need to use the cable to bring it back to life - I need to bank check battery level (this level of mouse shouldn't drain overnight, my el cheapo Logitech never did, nor did this when new!) I suspect that it'southward not the battery, unless information technology goes form 0-95% accuse in nether 5 minutes, and I have previously had intermittent communication issues, which were stock-still past unplugging / reconnecting the Base of operations USB connector.

Currently I need to switch the mouse off at the switch if I'm non going to utilize it for a few hours. it's not the worlds largest inconvenience, but its 1 I didn't expect to have on a mouse so spendy.

Whatsoever ideas, or is the unit already past its useful life?

Hi! I accept exact same event.
    I posted it here: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...t-problems/page2

I'thousand new user of Spatha since terminal friday.
I dont know if my mouse is cleaved or its a software/firmware event.
My mouse works about ok, but radomly it totally discharges during night. One evening I accept lxxx% bombardment next twenty-four hours its still eighty%. But next twenty-four hour period (hateful nighttime) its 80% in the evenig and total balckout in the monring after dark in indle (reckoner disabled). It has happened 3 times since terminal friday! May other wireless mices (class Logitech) dont carry so stupidly. Peradventure its battery defect?
I tried many different settings and light disable... Of grade powersaving is enabled. Still zippo. RMA? Or is it a bug?
    I'm so so disappointed. :-(

I'chiliad making RMA of this pice of crap. But I think information technology wont help and new i volition acquit simillar. This hardware is so overpriced. Worse thing is that Asus Software development is so bad... I accept no words. Armoury is tragic software with tons of bugs. The ability tab in software not coresponding with mouse in fact. Try to sync LED in keyboard & mouse - app will finish responding. "Good piece of work" dev team!

Supports also treats game products consumer every bit idiots or information technology'due south just my impression...
Nosotros are posting that mouse loses ability during dark and some smart Asus Back up writes about issues in Armoury. Seriously? Practise they read - that Spatha ability lose is when computer is OFF?

Sorry for my tone of speech communication but recently Asus made me professionally disappointed.

I have one of pinnacle routers (Asus RT-AC88U) & recent firmware update killed WiFi manage tab. I have more examples of incompetence software grouping... Await at GPU Tweek II tool... Asus Xonar D2X soundcard has still Windows x driver in beta (recentIy dissapeard from World wide web at all - peradventure becasue information technology hasnt shiny led features)... I loved that brand very much (look at my rig - one of two simillar) but lately they make everything to discourage me every bit a Client. Hardware it-self is quite nice (for example Strix cards (I accept 1080 and 1080Ti) but software is TRAGIC!

Spatha is exception as a bad hardware too. Why they didn't put there changable AA ability source? We can substitution switches but can exchange battery. Mouse was a present for me and even though I liked it earlier at present I would never buy it.

Armoury II 2.04.07 rectified the result. Only be sure to examination the sleep office without the Armoury Two window open.

I bought the Spatha some days agone, installed the last software and firmware (2.05.01 / 1.32 / 1.69) and still take this outcome with battery discharging - mouse removed from dock station on last evening and shows 100% battery level. I worked for 2 hours and it shows 95% right before it turn my PC in slumber mode. So i turn on my PC in this morning it shows orangish led on dock and 35% battery level in Armoury. It turns out that the bombardment discharges from 95% to 35% over the dark in slumber fashion.
Information technology turns out that the problem with fast self-discharge in sleep mode is not solved?
